The firm’s Principal Engineer, Dr. Usama El Shamy, is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the States of Louisiana (since 2006), Texas (since 2009) and Florida (since 2015). He is also a proud member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Our designs are based on more than 20 years of experience in modeling and simulation of structures and foundations under various types of loads including extreme events such as flooding and earthquakes. We utilize state-of-the-art commercial and in-house analysis and design software packages to meet the challenges of designing modern structures.

 Structural engineering involves the design of the different elements of the building to translate the architectural drawings into reality. It is a challenging task to accommodate the requests of the clients and the architects while minimizing the project cost and ensuring code requirements for safe designs. Geotechnical engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with studying soil and rock properties for the purpose of designing foundations for buildings, base soil for roads, embankments, retaining walls, levees, dams, among other systems. Every site is a unique site from a geotechnical point of view.
